Cookie Policy
What cookies Interval LLC (doing business as Interval Swim) uses on intervalswim.com, and which ones we won't use when the product launches.
1. Today: no cookies
intervalswim.com does not set cookies. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking pixels.
Cloudflare (our host) and our domain registrar log standard HTTP-level information (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp) as part of operating the infrastructure. We don't access those logs to identify or profile visitors.
2. When that changes
At launch, the only cookies we set will fall into these two categories.
Strictly necessary. Sign-in, checkout, CSRF protection. Can't be turned off without breaking the product. Exempt from consent requirements under GDPR and CCPA.
Performance, opt-in only. Privacy-respecting analytics to measure aggregate product use. No individual profiling, no third-party ad networks. Consent asked before any non-essential cookie is set. The default is no cookie.
3. What we won't use
Third-party advertising cookies. No ads, no retargeting, no embedded ad-network pixels.
Cross-site tracking and fingerprinting. No tracking across other sites, no canvas-fingerprint tricks to defeat cookie blockers.
Cookies set by social share buttons. Share buttons will use static links, not embedded scripts.
4. Your choices at launch
A notice will explain what's set, why, and how to opt out, before any non-essential cookie is set. Strictly necessary cookies will be disclosed but can't be turned off. Choices can be changed any time from a privacy-settings page in your account.
5. Global Privacy Control
At launch, we'll respect the Global Privacy Control signal. Visitors sending GPC will be treated as opted out of non-essential tracking by default. We don't act on the older Do Not Track header because the major browsers no longer send it consistently.
6. Changes
We may update this page. The effective date at the top says when. At launch, this page will list each cookie set: name, purpose, duration.
